This 3-in-1 Rain Poncho is the perfect accessory for your backpack when space is at a premium. It excels as a rain coat because, well it’s made from waterproof ripstop, but also because it features strategically placed Velcro to make sleeves and snaps around the hoodie as well as at your side. So rather than just draping over your body with a head hole like most ponchos, this one fits closer to the shape of your body to keep more water out. It’s big enough to act as a rainfly for your pack too.
Works great as a shelter if you bring along some rope and and stakes or find some rocks to tie to the grommets at each corner. Or if you just need a dry place to sit mid hike, use the 3-in-1 (or 4?) as a solid ground cover. With so much function in such a compact, lightweight package, how can you go wrong?
